Your foreign distributor or regulator asked for an FDA apostille. We take the certificate your company already holds and run it through the right office, so it arrives abroad with the seal the registration file needs.

Apostille de la Haya is the trade name of Riveros International Business Corp, a private company registered in Florida. We are not the FDA, the U.S. Department of State or an embassy, and none of them endorses us.
We start from a certificate you already have. We do not issue, obtain or request FDA certificates; only the FDA issues them, at the request of the manufacturer or exporter. In addition, we do not offer so-called “FDA registration certificates”, because the FDA does not issue them.
The competent office applies every seal, and you can complete each step yourself. So our fees cover the review, the handling, the follow-up and the shipping, on top of the official fees.
An apostille certifies the signature and seal on a public document so that another Hague Convention country accepts it. With an FDA certificate, that seal comes from the U.S. Department of State, because the FDA is a federal agency.
However, not every “FDA” document follows that route. For example, a state Certificate of Free Sale goes to that state, and a chamber of commerce certificate starts with a notary. So the first question is always who signed your document.
Also, the destination decides between an apostille and legalization. For instance, Mexico and Colombia accept the apostille, while the United Arab Emirates requires legalization at its embassy.
Documents signed by a federal official, FDA certificates included. The Office of Authentications in Washington applies the apostille.
The FDA, a state or a chamber of commerce may issue it, and each issuer leads to a different office.
CFG, CPP and Certificate of Exportability: what each one states and how it reaches the apostille.
For the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and Iraq, which do not accept the apostille.
A federal official, a state official or a chamber representative.
Paper with an embossed seal, or an electronic PDF.
Some certificates expire; a CPP, for example, after two years.
Product and manufacturer names exactly as the foreign file expects them.
Hague member or legalization country.
Whether Express service makes sense for our part of the work.
For electronic device certificates, the FDA says apostilles and authentications must be printed in color to be valid.
A state certificate does not go to Washington, and a federal one does not go to a state capital. Either way, it comes back unsealed.
Some companies sell registration certificates that look official. The FDA neither issues nor recognizes them.
Foreign product registrations often run on a clock, and every rejection delays the file.
Share the certificate on WhatsApp or through the form. Then we confirm the issuer, the route and whether an apostille is possible.
We list the steps, the official fees as a concept and our own fees. After that, you send the document the way we indicate.
We take it to the right office and update you at each stage. Finally, we ship it with a tracking number.
We handle FDA certificate apostilles regularly from our Miami office. Also, because we work in English and Spanish, your regulatory team and your Latin American importer can talk to the same person.

It is the apostille of a certificate that the FDA or another recognized issuer signed, so that a Hague Convention country accepts it. The U.S. Department of State handles federal documents, and each state handles its own.
No. The manufacturer or exporter requests it from the FDA through the FDA’s own systems. We work with the certificate you already hold.
For device certificates, yes: the FDA says apostilles and authentications must be printed in color. For other types, we review your copy and confirm the route before you pay.
The official office sets its own timeline, and it changes with its workload. Our Express option speeds up our part of the work, not the office’s.
Then the apostille will not help. In that case we handle legalization for the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and Iraq.
No, because the FDA does not issue registration certificates. Also, the ones that some private companies sell are not federal documents.
Tell us which certificate you hold, who issued it and where it is going. We reply with the exact route and a written quote.
Message us on WhatsApp and we reply the same business day. You can also send a photo of the certificate for the preliminary review.

The FDA explains its types of export certificates and states that it does not issue registration certificates. In addition, it explains its electronic export documents and, back in 2014, that it stopped notarizing device export certificates. Meanwhile, the Department of State publishes its authentication guidance, and the Hague Conference keeps the list of member countries. Finally, here is our privacy policy.
