Registrars and tender committees in Baghdad or Erbil accept only corporate documents with the embassy seal. So a returned resolution can cost the bid.
Board resolutions and certificates of good standing are refused at the state office when they lack the seal or the officer's original signature. Then the whole set waits.
A power of attorney for a manager, a certificate of incorporation and a director's passport copy follow different starting points. As a result, bundling them wrongly restarts the clock.
The Department of State and the Iraqi Embassy are in Washington, D.C. Besides, nothing about the consular section is designed to be handled by phone from Iraq.

In Washington, D.C., the consular section legalizes the authenticated document. Iraq also keeps consulates general in the United States, and jurisdiction can depend on the issuing state; we confirm the office before submitting.
Once the document arrives, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs usually authenticates it before a ministry, court, notary office or company registrar accepts it. Your representative completes that step there; we brief you in advance.
